Myconos Climate

The Climate of Mykonos is typical of the Greek islands with mild winters and hot and dry summers. The best time to visit Mykonos is late spring and beging of June and middle of September when the climate is mild and the tourism is not so  much.
Geography , the subsoil of Mykonos has been declared the manganese-rich deposits of iron, copper, and galena but remain unexploited. Main agricultural products are barley grapes and figs and limited farming. It is typical cheese of Mykonos the famous kopanisti. Previously Mykonos was a great hunting ground for quail and turtle doves. Also the locals are engaged in fishing that meets the needs of the island.
